A QR code generator without the nonsense
I got tired of QR sites that hide the download behind an account, a watermark, or a surprise upsell. So I put a free generator on this blog.
I needed a QR code the other day. A URL on a sticker. Nothing clever.
So I opened a “free” generator online. Preview, watermark, email field, create-an-account-to-unlock-HD. Same dance on the next site, different logo.
Generating a QR code is not hard. Finding a page that will just let you do it is.

Free. No account. No watermark. Runs in your browser, so the text never needs to leave your machine. Paste a URL or some text, download PNG or SVG, done.
